Research summary
My activities are in particular related to:
- statistical analysis, with reference to the metabolic syndrome, diabetes, functional disability, cognitive impairment, osteoporosis;
- estimation of the Disability-Free Life Expectancy (DFLE) with the Sullivan method or with multi-state models (IMach software);
- estimation of the Disability Adjusted Life Years indicator (DALY) for certain diseases such as COPD, stroke, angina, heart attack.
