Born in 1967 he graduated with an Honours degree in Engineering (dottore in ingegneria) from the University of Padua in 1993, with the thesis: "Analisi del ritiro e della deformazione differita in getti massivi di calcestruzzo", advisor: Prof.C. Majorana.
He got his Ph.D. in 1998, with a thesis on: "La modellazione numerica nella meccanica dei mezzi porosi", advisor: Prof. B. Schrefler.
Researcher CNR since February 1, 2001.
