I am a Researcher at the Institute of Neuroscience of the Italian National Research Council (IN-CNR). My activity is based in Padua, where I lead a group of PhD students and post-doc fellows studying pathophysiology of glucose metabolism and diabetes, and mechanisms of action of anti-diabetic treatments, via the development and application of mathematical modelling and bioinformatics techniques on molecular and in vivo data.
